What is the eligibility for Game Art courses?


Diploma and Professional Diploma in Game Art, while we prefer Fine Art Graduates and graduates from other streams, the course is also open to students who have completed their +2 provided they exhibit good art skills, a passion for video games and a fair level of aptitude and communication.

Is there a certificate provided at the end of the course?


Yes. In the case of Game Art Courses, on successful completion of the course a student would receive a Professional Diploma or Diploma as applicable by AIGA. In addition, being a quality assured programme, points earned during the Game Art course would be considered for further studies at the University of Wolverhampton UK.

Do you provide placements?


Yes, AIGA will assist students with placements. The courses have been tailor made for the Game Industry. The quality benchmarks that students are exposed to are on par with the International Industry. This coupled with a stringent entry and assessment criteria through the course, ensures students graduating from AIGA are easily absorbed into the Game Industry.

How do I qualify to join the AIGA Game Art courses? Can I know the process please..


Share any of your artworks and we will tell you if you have the skill to withstand the art intensive course. If you qualify we have an Art test which helps us understand and assess your skills further. Admission is based on your Art skills, passion for games, aptitude and communication skills.

What is the duration of the course?


The Game Art courses range from 9 months to 12 months in full time mode. Prior to the Game Art course, students would need to complete their foundation spanning 3 months.

The Game Programming course spans 6 months.

What kind of career profiles could one expect in the Industry?


There are various streams within Games. Students graduating from AIGA would qualify to be part of Game Art or the Game Programming team. Within each of these streams one could further specialize as for instance Texture artist, Character artist, Vehicle artist, Environment artist, Flash Programmer, Physics programmer, UI programmer, AI programmer and so on.

Do you offer shorter Courses?


The shortest would be the Online Flash Game Programming course which spans 6 months. However our Specialization modules which are at a higher level of competency are open to Industry Professionals and students looking to upgrade their skills in a specific area.

Am I cut out for a career in Game Art?


If you are artistically/technically inclined and love games, this might just be the career for you. Can I apply for Scholarship?


Yes, you surely can apply for scholarship*. At AIGA our aim is to impart quality education to genuinely skilled and passionate aspirants. Scholarships are based primarily on merit of the candidates.

If you have completed your Bachelors degree in Fine Arts or equivalent or feel you are artistically inclined, there is a good chance that you would qualify. Please mail us copies of art work that best exhibit your skills along with the application and scholarship forms and we will get back to you.

Can I avail a Bank loan to cover the Course fees?


Yes. AIGA can assist you in procuring bank loans.
